 HOW TO CHOOSE YOGA CLASS LEVEL?

The basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

Levels in yoga are considered as levels of difficulty in attempting the postures/ Asanas. All the courses mentioned here are marked/ mentioned with a certain number of level which will help you Choose Your Class without Confusion.

LEVEL 1 : A beginner-friendly class with pranamaya + asana. 

  • Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. If you have never tried yoga this series is perfect for you and is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.

LEVEL 1.3

  • Classes are designed for those who have had some exposure to yoga, including an introduction to basic yoga poses and proper alignment. The experienced beginner student would like to explore their practice and begin to become more familiar with poses and the use of the breath.

LEVEL 1.5: Suitable for beginners + intermediate practitioners. Expect classical postures with variations for more experienced yogis.

  • Classes are designed for those who have had exposure to yoga, including an introduction to basic yoga poses and proper alignment. The experienced beginner student would like to explore their practice and begin to become more familiar with poses and the use of the breath.

LEVEL 2: An intermediate class for yogis who wish to go further in their practice. 

  • Classes are designed for more experienced yogis with a very solid understanding of basic yoga postures who are comfortable performing more advanced poses. For the advanced intermediate student who practices yoga regularly and has begun to master the connection of breath with movement.
