Deepika Mehta is an internationally acclaimed Ashtanga Yoga Level 2 Teacher.
This workshop is designed by Deepika Mehta for all those who are in any movement form be it Dance, Yoga, CrossFit, Pilates, etc. She will be guiding us through a lot of strength and flexibility drills from the world of Yoga and also from other forms of fitness.
The workshop will help you to grow in every aspect of your fitness in a holistic way.

Day 1: Strength Essentials

This workshop mainly includes the essentials for asanas(pushing movements, core and shoulders and parallel strength work (legs and pulling ). This workshop specifically is targeted to build strength in the body by using a few drills and movements from yoga and a few from other forms of workouts. Deepika, with her 20+ years of self-practice and training different types of bodies, has created this strength-based sequence for all levels of practitioner.

Day 2: Flexibility Essentials

This workshop is aiming for splits, hip openers, and Backbends. In yoga, “flexibility” is an attitude that invests and transforms the mind as well as the body. This Workshop will help release energy stored in the spine. It will help bring your body back into balance.

Day 3: Joy of Movement

This Workshop is designed to bring Mobility, Waves, and Fluidity into the Yoga Practice.  Simply put, flexibility is about muscles, whereas mobility is related to joints. Mobility is the ability to move smoothly and freely. Specifically speaking of our joints and how they move. Practicing mobility exercises is what keeps our bodies healthy and active. This Yoga Workshop benefits both muscles and joints. This Workshop is designed in order to increase and maintain Mobility in your Yoga Routine.
